The Pawleys Island Flute Choir began six years ago when a group of amateur flutists decided it would be fun to play together. They now have ten members from all walks of life: Kenny Cox, Lisa Couture, Leigh Eddy, Melanie Green, Gail Holsclaw, Elizabeth Krauss, Molly McNeil, Paula Richardson and Patsy Stortz and Angela Sullivan. The Flute Choir use five members of the flute family: the piccolo, the E-flat flute, the C flute, the alto flute, and the bass flute. Since its inception, PIFC has played at Brookgreen Gardens for 'Nights of A Thousand Candles', The Kaminski House, for their Christmas Open House, Weddings and numerous church services in the community.
