MEET OUR PASTOR

Reverend Frank Holsclaw

Rev. Frank Holsclaw has been pastor of Pawleys Island Presbyterian Church for the past

twenty-five  years.  A native of Charleston, West Virginia, he is a graduate of Davis and Elkins College with a degree in Psychology, and Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.

In his many years of ministry, Frank has served as Associate Pastor of Signal Mountain Presbyterian of Chattanooga, Tenn.; pastor of First Presbyterian in Cleveland, Tenn.

Rev. Holsclaw is active within the Presbytery of New Harmony of the Presbyterian Church USA where he has served previously as Presbytery Moderator, Secretary on the Presbytery Council, and moderator of the Witness Committee.  He has served twice as commissioner to the denominational General Assembly.

Within the Pawleys Island and Georgetown community, Rev. Holsclaw serves on the Georgetown County Board of Disabilities and Special Needs and is President of the Litchfield-Pawleys Island Ministerial Association.

Rev. Holsclaw is married to Gail Virginia Wollaston of Newark, Delaware.  Gail graduated from Davis and Elkins College with a degree in Elementary Education and received her Master’s Degree from the University of Delaware.  Gail and Frank have two daughters, Abigail and Joy.
